FESTIVAL OF SOLIDARITY 2015
Fighting Austerity Here and Abroad - June 13 - Montreal
The 2015 FESTIVAL OF SOLIDARITY, co-organized by Alternatives and the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung—New York Office, will take place in Montreal from 9:30am to 5:30pm on Saturday, June 13. It is being held at the Coeur des sciences de l’UQAM, 175 Avenue President Kennedy, Salle Agora Hydro-Québec. Attendance is free and open to the public.
This event will be livestreamed here.
During the Festival, we will focus on how we can successfully fight austerity in Quebec, Canada, and beyond: What are the perspectives for mass mobilization against austerity in Quebec this coming fall? How can we better link climate issues and anti-austerity mobilizations? And what lessons can be drawn from the European experience in fighting austerity?
