What’s Up with Germany? A Domestic and Foreign Policy Overlook

What is happening in Germany?  Some hope that it will be a bulwark against extremism and a pillar of stability. With the rise of the right, challenges to the center, and a left  that cannot hold, however, it seems like Germany cannot quite make up its mind where it’s going.

Here to straighten things out  is Stefan Liebich, Deputy Chair of the US-Germany Friendship Committee of the Bundestag and member of parliament  for DIE LINKE (The Left Party). In this wide ranging conversation with journalist-comedian Katie Halper, he will dig deep into questions around DIE LINKE’s current direction and the art of dealing with Trump’s foreign policy.

When: Friday, February 8, 2019 at 6PM
